Welcome to your Cisco U. learning experience!
The Cisco U. “My Dashboard” page is your most comprehensive view of the content, community threads, and progress reports that are pertinent to you. While the “For You” page surfaces recommended content to you, My Dashboard is where you can find content that you have bookmarked.
My Dashboard
How to find My Dashboard:
- Navigate to this page by clicking the U. icon in the upper-right corner.
- Select the My Dashboard link at the top of the drop-down menu.
As you select items from the For You or Explore pages and begin learning, the My Dashboard page will give you updates on your progress, track your achievements, offer helpful insights, and notify you about certification expiration dates with plenty of time to recertify. This feature has a lot of functions in a small space, all tailored to highlight things that you have specifically expressed an interest in.

My Dashboard Landing Page
Along with information about your learning progress and insights on the topic areas and types of content that you have bookmarked, your dashboard displays all your earned certifications, badges, and recognitions on the landing page.
Certifications on this page will appear with their expiration dates so that you can know ahead of time when you need to start preparing to recertify. Any expiration dates appearing in red will expire within six months.
My Learning
Looking to the right of the My Dashboard tab, you’ll see one next to it called “My Learning." Let’s check it out.
The My Learning tab is where you’ll find your personalized selections for content that you’ve added to your learning list on the For You page. Any content on Cisco U. that you have bookmarked appears here and can be sorted by topic, content type, alphabetically by title, and by most recently accessed.
At this time, content that you bookmarked on Cisco Digital Learning or the Cisco Learning Network will not automatically roll over to Cisco U. Any content that you have started on Cisco Digital Learning or the Cisco Learning Network must be completed on those respective platforms.
My Community
Moving over one more tab, you’ll see the “My Community” tab next to My Learning. Your Cisco Learning Network account and information will surface to you on the My Community tab. Here, you will find your Cisco Learning Network account status, including updates on any points you’ve earned. If you have a Cisco Learning Network account, you’ll also see any communities or discussion threads that you are following. If you don’t have a Cisco Learning Network account, don’t worry—Cisco U. will surface recent discussions in the most popular communities to help get you acquainted with what our community is talking about.
If you’d like to see other discussions in your followed communities, it’s easy! Follow the launch into Cisco Learning Network, just click See all discussions, and select from there.
Even if you don’t have a Cisco Learning Network account, Cisco U. works to help you stay informed by sharing the most recent discussions in our most popular community. If you want to participate in those discussions, simply click the View Discussion button to be launched into the Cisco Learning Network. You can participate in the conversation once you have successfully created a Cisco Learning Network account!
Finally, any events or webinars that you’ve bookmarked will appear on the My Community page as well. If you haven’t selected any events or webinars, Cisco U. will surface suggestions that are relevant for your interests.
As you spend more time learning, Cisco U. will be hard at work in the background, offering you insights and various reporting tools that you can use to track your progress, set goals, and share your accomplishments with others.

My Account
The final tab that you will see in the dashboard is “My Account.” Here, you can see your access level to all that Cisco U. has to offer. If you are a paid subscriber, all subscription information can be found there as well as status and renewal information.
Cisco U is a powerful resource in your learning journey. I hope that your time digging into the dashboard has been helpful and that you feel confident in navigating the platform. The real value comes when you start learning, so pick a topic and get started!
